|
steady on airbag light
1995 maxima with a constant on air bag light, tried the door reset procedure and checked the fuse, anyone know where the harnesses are for the air bag system so i can check to see if one is loose, the light never flashed, just a steady on, thanks

Steady on light means your airbag system has a failure and is not operating. If the reset procedure doesn't turn it off, something has definately failed. Only a certified Airbag tech. (at your dealer) will be able to work on that system. Don't play around with it yourself.

go to ur dealer RIGHT AWAY!.......something wrong with the sensors!....
i had the same thing.....anda they <NISSAN<....replaced it with a emergency order for the sensors....took one day....and free of charge.... ...when the airbag light is on, the air bag is set not to go off during accidents.....so, do it now...!!,or <ASAP<...
