1993 grand cherokee grinds and hops

this only happens when i turn at slow speed or try to pull into parking spots. i thought it was the cv halfshaft so i had that replaced and it still does it.

Does your jeep have Quadra-Trac (all time 4 Wheel Drive)?

If so, sounds like your VC (Viscous Coupling) is bad (locked up).
