Exclamation Help with my black widow alarm!!!

I bought my car (a '93 Honda Civic DX hatchback) very recently off of a lady who was moving to Japan. The car had a lot of custom work done to it, and a black widow car alarm also installed.

When I push the button to lock the car (with the keyless remote) the headlights flash, but the alarm doesn't ever make any sounds.

Does anyone know why this would happen? I don't have a manual for the alarm, in fact, I don't even know where the alarm is in the car! I just really need to hook up my alarm, because my car got stolen a week ago, and I was lucky to have only gotten my stereo stolen out of it. Money's really tight right now, and I'm not sure if I can afford to get it fixed by an alarm specialist.

Anybody a Black Widow alarm expert?

some alarms have a way of setting the alarm silently....u might be doing that....i would have to see your remote to know for sure though......but like i was saying some alarms u can set it and have it make the noise or set it and have it silent but just have the lights flash....it sounds like u are setting it.....try it then wait like 60 seconds and try to set it off thats a sure way to tell if the alarm is set...if it starts going off then u know

Is it wired to the horn properly, or even at all? Does it even have the horn with it?
