only one wiper works

my driver side wiper dosent move with the passenger wiper
has anyone experenced this strange problem

There's only one motor so the problem has to be with the linkage.

If you will check under the cover where the wiper is attached to the motor stud the nut that holds the wiper is not tight, had this happen on an 87. Hope this helps.
