HELP ME PLEASE!!! 2000 S10 2.2 Vin5

I currently own a 2000 S-10 2.2 Vin 5 w/76000miles. The problem that I am trying to diagnose is this. About a month ago I noticed that while driving down the road 55/60mph that it felt like the truck was cutting out or slipping. Naturally first thing checked was the tranny fluid. checked okay. Next changed plugs and wires. Seemed to alleviate the poblem until a couple of days later. At this point i noticed that it does it also while in park. Some days it does this some days not. The fuel pump and filter check okay. I thought maybe it may be a problem with the pump so i started to really pay attention to where the fuel gauge was when this happened. I happens at anywhere from full to running on fumes. Any help would be appreciated.

No it does not jerk. It is just a loss of response. It will sometimes do it when leaving a light or stop sign.
