Sound from engine freaking me out

I have a 1993 G20 with 109K miles on it and just last week, I noticed a noise coming from under the engine. Basically my car sounds like a lawnmower and I can smell gasoline burning from the engine. Anyone out there have an idea what could be the problem and how much would it cost me? Any input would help out a lot.

The sound is a bit louder now, the sound is similar to a car with a large muffler, but the sound is coming from the front of the car.

Probably you have a exhaust mani leak, go to a muffler shop.
