Progress: 2003 Calsonic GT-R

Oh, god!! I know you will say: "NOT AGAIN!! ANOTHER SKYLINE, I'M SICK OF IT ALREADY. YOU CRAZY B****!!!"
I really have to check my head because I had 22 skyline models now (build and unbuild).

Back to this one. It's going to be straight out of box with interior CF and wiring, like the xanavi. I'll post some pictures of how to make those wiring when I work on them. Not much done for now, painted the rims and body.

I dirty up the rims around the nut and paint the line around the spokes(red arrow). Gotta paint them 'cause they are too white.

nice and shiny....

I'm sorry. I can't help it; gotta build another one.

Re: Progress: 2003 Calsonic GT-R

Not another Skyline you crazy ****h!!! LOL Looks great, I like the line aroun the rim as it makes it look like a true multipiece rim. THe color and shine is great! I wish I can master the blue paint like that.. its a tricky color. Look forward to your tutorial on the wiring... you did a great job on the Xanavi model.

Re: Progress: 2003 Calsonic GT-R

Are there any aftermarket decal schemes for these Skylines? If so you could build dozens! I'm the same for Peugeots 206s, got half a dozen planned - never enough time to build them all though

Looks great so far. What did you paint the line around the rim with - a permanent marker?

Re: Progress: 2003 Calsonic GT-R

No motor? Awe! I was just thinking the other night that I should pull a Nismo400R and throw a motor into my racing S2000.... Kinda disappointing, I considered that your trademark; proof of your handiwork. Nevertheless, we're all braced for a mad stunner.

Hey mate,
The model is looking great so far!
Just wanted to know how you painted the line around the wheels?
Gundam marker maybe?
The rims look spot on perfect,i was going to buy this kit as my next project so how is the kit in terms of quality of build/difficulty etc.

Cant wait to see more pics.
Cheers
