When I get back to Japan (about two weeks), I can get them for you...as long as you're willing to believe a '96 and '97 have the same part numbers for those parts.

PARTS

Do you have a copy of your japanese title for the gt-r. I live in Japan and I own an R33 GT-R, but it is a 95'. The parts should be the same as your 97'. If you want, I can easily get the part numbers for you for a 95'. By the way, I heard Nissan Japan wants around 400 dollars for a technical manual for a GT-R. I was thinking about puchasing one before I bring mine to the states. Hmmm...I wonder if they have it on cd-rom?

Hud,
I've got a copy of the manual in English.....Motorex told me the engine section is almost
completely identical to the R33 manual. Where in Japan are you....I don't mind if you come
by the house and check out my copy.

(hud and NISMO23 are the same person) I live in okinawa, I think your in mainland, right? Oh well. Does it have part numbers in it for everything? Does it go into detail on repair parts or is it a user's manual. Did you get it from Motorex? The last time I asked them, they said an english manual didn't exist for the r33 to their knowledge. If you can, let me now where you bought it from, I am definatly interested. I was going to go ahead and buy the japanese manual from nissan since my wife is japanese and she can translate anything for me.

Here are the part numbers and prices:

1) TIMING BELT:
13028M 13028-20P25
4,370 YEN

2) Timing BeltTentioner ( R H )
13070M 13070-42L00
4,360 YEN

3) Timing BeltTentioner ( L H )
13077 13074-58S00
4,360 YEN

4) Water pump
21010 21010-24U26
13,000 YEN

5) Thermostat
21200 21200-42L05
2,000 YEN

6) Complete Engine GASKET ( engine rebuild kit )
11011K 10101-24U25
24,000 YEN

TOTAL COST: 52,090 YEN

There you go. I hope you can get the parts for your gt-r now. Each part had two part numbers for each. You should be able to use either one. I'm not sure which part number nissan needs, so I listed both. Also, I asked them about how much a parts catalog for a GT-R would cost, and they said only 11,000 yen. This manual includes the entire series of the R33 skyline i.e. the GTS-t, GTS-4, GTS, GTS25t, GTS25, AND of course the GT-R! There are more models than I listed I just don't know them off hand. The book had pictures, in detail, of every part for every nook and cranny of the Skyline. It is in jajanese, but it is easy to figure out what part number you would need. I am definatly going to buy one soon. Let me know if you need anymore help.
