the thing you posted a link to is pretty old. we would have hear dmroe by now if the crx was really being re-released.

4gs are classic compact car. I'll love mine until the floor rusts out.

13 years old, performance parts and accessories avaliable for them than when I got my first 4th gen 4 years ago...

If you're afraid of the age of things, you can always do what I'm doing and just get you one and tear it down to the bare bones and rebuild it from the ground up..... then it will be good as new.

All I can say is the CR-X is a classic and classics never date....they just get better and better with age.

Moppie will probably shoot me for saying that!

What do you mean by tearing it down? Strip the body panels off? Is it expensive?

So far I've taken everything out of the car.... seats, carpet, dash, interior trim, everything in the engine bay... still have to tear apart the suspension and brake system...
Yes, I'm basically taking everything apart and putting it back together again... replacing any worn or broken parts as I go... also fixing any problems with the body (dents, rust, ect..)
It hasn't been very expensive for me to be doing yet... but I haven't really had to fix too much... plus I'm doing all the work myself, so that cuts the cost way down. (MY labor is cheap )
Ebay is king of finding replacement parts... people will sell just about anything on there.

Wow, sounds extensive. I don't quite have the knowledge to know how to tear apart the suspension and put it back together, but if it's not too difficult, it might be worth a shot (after I learned how to do it, of course).

dude it's just like a big gigsaw puzzle you can drive, look at a bolts and if it doesn't come off look for more bolts. plus all you have to do is get a service manual from the dealer.
