Nissan S13..99% Done!

Wow, I ACTUALLY finished a model

Ive had this kit for ages, and like all other models, something happened, and I gave up and stashed it away. Then I got thinking: Since its an S13, why not make it look like CRAP deliberately, because I can get away with it by saying its a "hardcore JDM drift machine". And so my half-assed expedition began.

I primered it, then painted it flat black, ala the SCC S13, however I made sure to scratch some paint off, so the bare primer would show creating the "battle scar" effect. The flat black interior, cracked lights, and ill fitting wheels complete the look.

To some of you, this car will look like total and complete ass. To others, who appreciate the simple beauty of a "borro" drift machine, this car will be one of the coolest models you've ever seen. Its basically a love it or hate it car.

On a side note, my Hachi thread freezes me comp everytime I try and run the page, so I cant show any progress pics

P.S I suck at teh picture taking too

A Fake "History" Behind the car(inspired behind toniosevens history of his TE27)

This 1992 Nissan Silvia K's belongs to a former english teacher in the Kanto area of Japan.

The car began life as a Silvia K's with the Hearts package, and had 2 prior owners. This car from day one was used on the circuts and the mountain passes, and has a crash, which damaged the front end. The previous owner replaced the un-popular twin-projector headlamps with a pair of non-projector CA18DET headlights, which are highly sought after, and a Silvia Aero bumper, that was slightyly damaged. The front middle portion was cut off to make room for a front-mount intercooler, which has not been installed yet.

The car was originally a lime-green(as can be seen by the mirrors, which were swapped for Aero mirrors, then swapped back and left un-painted) on gray two-tone but has been re-painted flat black so it can easily be touched up after the many minor colisions it endures while drifting.

Since the stock SR20DET pumps out a modest 205hp, the engine modifications have been minor, consisting of a Trust Air cleaner, Greddy SP cat-back exhuast, ARC Blowoff valve, and Greddy boost controller and turbo timer.

The car features a stock VLSD, Tein height adjustable coil-over suspension, and a 5-lug conversion. R33 rims mounted on 17" Bridgestone Expedia tires.

Thanks, and yes, I know I did! Thanks

I was expecting people (ricers) would say it looks like ass, but hey, its supposed to. if you like the look, then you "get" the car.

It has been done for decades in America by serious street-rodders that never had time to paint their cars.

Your '98 Saleen Mustang has been primered for 2 years?

Not to mention SVT has nothing to do with Saleen.

haha... thats a great little theme project and nobody should critisize a theme project. i do the exact same thing for my mess-ups as well, just create a situation or theme for the car to explain damage. great recycling job! as a 1:1 92' 240sx owner i had a question or two. which kit is that? its not a Silvia or a hatchback. i havent been able to find a 240sx model that had a normal trunk like my car that wasnt a Silvia. also do you know if any company ever made a kit of the American 240sx with pop up lights and normal trunk, all ive found with pop-up lights is the hatchback. also are those rims from a VW Golf model?

Its a Fujimi kit

Its a Silvia factory Aero bumper, with a mega peice cut out to make way for a front mount intercooler

And those rims are from a Tamiya R33. Looks 11tybillion times better in person, pics dont do it justice.
