What do the cops drive where you live?

Include pics if you can find them...

Usually the Ford Crown Victoria:

State Police in Virginia will be moving to the Dodge Charger:

Re: What do the cops drive where you live?

Around Dallas we have your average run-of-the-mill Crown Vic's, but I've seen a few of these stealthy bastards roaming around that look similar to this:

And on a few rare ocassions I'll see these on the highway, which at the moment usually cause my balls to shrink up into my stomach.

Re: What do the cops drive where you live?

Switching to the charger in nh, got a close look at one today but couldn't get a picture as the trooper might have had a problem with me taking a picture of his car while he had me pulled over.

the silver 5-Series diesels. (not sure if they're 530Ds or 535Ds)

Motorway X5

the lucky Yorkshire police, with their FQ-360s.

some of the motorway patrols have Volvos and Nissan 4x4s. couldn't find pictures of them though.

Re: What do the cops drive where you live?

Well, I couldn't find any pictures of the "local" police in my area... and since I only work in downtown Pittsburgh, I didn't think it was fair to represent their police as "mine"... so I went with the PA State Troopers. Most are crown vics (which, if I may say so myself, do VERY well at high speeds... police package > regular vics). In the rural areas, they still have Cherokees.

Here they are from the rear... they added the black and gold stripes in 04. It is WONDERFUL to see them so well... I mean, no one wants to hit a state trooper. Or pass them at 20 over the speed limit

And from the side:
