The color is Le Mans Red from the MB palette ordered in paint shop for real cars (very small grain). The overcoat is a 2K paint. Generally this kit has a great potential and if Revell would make a few things in other way it could be perfect set. Wow great work! Those closed doors fit perfectly, can't even tell that they open, nice!!!
After looking thourgh your build album, man you really did a lot of tweaking to get that look, Great Job!

Hot dang! That's some serious building! Nice work! And those pictures, they're friggin' awesome! Somehow the metallic red suits this car perfect, it looks pretty hot in black or silver, but that red makes it burst to flames, it's that hot!
