Re: 95' aurora keyless entry
here's how to do it.
Turn ignition switch "off" Using a fused jumper, juper data line connector terminal 8 (blk/wht) to terminal 4 Blk close all doors turn ignition switch "on" door locks cycle press and hold lock and unlock button on one transmitter alter a 30 second delay the doors will lock and unlock repeat step to program extra transmitters do not turn off ignition, if switch is turned off the first transmitter will become inoperative. disconnect jumper from DLC

Re: 95' aurora keyless entry
a fused jumper is taking a wire with a fuse in the middle, the jumper data line is the place where you would plug a computer up to it to find codes.

Just do exactly as 97silverbullet wrote and all will be fine. Yes he means hold both the lock and unlock buttons down at the same time. FYI, the correct Model/FCC code # for a 95 Aurora remote will be ABO0303T. You will also hear the door locks cycle once as soon as you connect the jumper wire. Anyway, just follow the instructions as written. Worked for me.

Re: 95' aurora keyless entry
I wouldn't mess around with that. Just get an after market one. Or do what I did, get a remote starter with security built in. Works great for the keyless entry part of it. Even remote starters themselves usually come with a keyless entry option. I have never had any luck with the factory remotes working after the car has about 100,000 miles on them. The remotes loose range until you have to be standing within a foot of the car and you have to push the button repeatedly to get them to do anything. Replacing the battery rarely ever helps.

That's because stuff is no longer made to last 100k mi.

I've never had a problem with my keyless entry and my car has over 180,000 miles logged on it.

nvrenough, indy8 didn't mean anything about that comment. He just seems to have more bad luck with GM in general than the rest of us satisfied Aurora lovers LOL. Both 1995 remotes I bought used work from at least 75ft and the car has over 120K. The 96 and up GM remotes are a totally different design so maybe those are the ones that are a POS??
Getting an alarm or remote starter is an alternative so long as you really need one of these and can find a qualified installer. If you feel the factory anti-theft features are adequate and you can live without a remote starter, then just spend 5 minutes to program factory remotes as needed. Used ones can be had for less than $20 on eBay at any given time.

Re: 95' aurora keyless entry
Take the key fob apart and clean all contacts with a little alcohol and new battery and it should work great. Mine does and I have 113,500 and my fobs are worn so you can't see the print lol
