Hmmm, it loaded when I previewed it... Webshots sucks for hosting pictures... Try this link instead...

***EDIT*** Well that didn't work either... I'll try to host it somewhere else.

***ANOTHER EDIT***

This one actually works!!!

Hey 97GSTspyder, How difficult was it take out your interior to paint??

Extremely easy...Just a bunch of screws, some bolts and shit, other than that it's mostly clips holding everything else on.

Re: update on my interior conversion (pics)

Dude looks amazing...the silver speaker grill looks awesome too. Do you think that an outside (stranger) will be able to tell that the interior pieces will have been painted? Or does it look like a piece from the factory (stock)?

No problem man. My sketches are the result of too much free time. lol I pretty much drawn out sketches like that for all my projects. I really think it would turn out awesome if you did that. But instead of covering it in carpet, I'd make a wooden frame and do it in fiberglass and paint it to match the car... Damn would that look sexy then... If you want me to draw up a frame for that I could do that for ya and then all you gotta do is put the perfect measurements to it.

P.S.
If anyone else ever wants some sketches done so they can get an idea of what something looks like just drop me a PM or something. I've got nothing better to do with my time.

**EDIT** I can make some sweet signature pictures too. lol

Something like the above? but with a window.

most times with the paint if you do it right and wash, sand, paint you can't tell they have been. I've had a few of my friends comment on how they thought it was cool that the factory had an option to highlight the interior with blue all around. I just smiled and told them I did. I imagine it's much the same effect as the silver. If you don't go overboard it looks great.

It looks like the car came from the factory like that. I've seen eclipses with all black interior and the pieces that i painted look identical...I just need to find some black seats and brackets that will actually work!

Forget that. Your gonna be converting it to a two seater and you are gonna obviously be swapping out your front seats. Why not just get some really nice black aftermarket seats? There are so many out there that would look completely sick in your car once all this is done.

Good job on the painting! Looks real clean, and factory. Can't wait to see the final product.

I was easily able to fabricate my own for some Sparco sprint seats using "L" shaped, and flat double width brackets that I picked up at the hardware store. You use the original sliding mechanism for the pass. side and the power seat assembly for the drivers.

I've got the seats out at the moment, and I'll take a few pictures of them when my girl comes back with the digital. Only thing I ask is for a good site that I can dump the photos in so I can upload them to the thread. The one I was using started charging. Bast@rds!

Damn looks good guys. How does the paint piece feel? Does it feel like stock?

Good sketch BlackCrow, damn nice. I'll hit you up for a sketch sometime .

Sup Spyder,

How that paint holding up? I was thinking about doing the same thing to the back of my spyder. Was it difficult?
