I take what i said back.. they might of ran faster BUT the Top Fuel Dragsters are limited to how fast they can go. They can go faster but for safety they are limited to only run on i think 20% nitro any more and it gets too volitile (dangerous fer us dumb folk).

Plus tire technology hasnt caught up yet so they cant go any faster as it is. I mean they're doing 300mph 2 seconds into the run.. not many tires can withstand that kinda abuse.

Although what you saw might of been one of the Jet powered Drag cars. When you've got 20,000lbs worth of thrust i think you might be able to do a 1/4 in 3. But im not sure haha i usually dont watch those.. not as exciting.

Formula 1 utulizes normally aspirated V10 3.0 litre engines (they, btw, rev to 19000 rpm and make at least 900hp, which will be probably more like 1000 next season).

Edit: and they are made to run on fuel readily available at gas stations.

Ferrari= the absolute greatest works of mechanical art in the UNIVERSE!

Cornbread= a very good side dish for chicken dinners

Sex= what you can get with a Ferrari and what makes you hungry afterwards, so you eat cornbread you find buried in the back of the fridge.
