I know i posted this in another section but wasnt sure if alot of people read that section or not or whatever, so any way Im sorry.

Ive just recently purchased dual Halo Black housing Projector Lights, and well, I installed them.. and at the moment, Driving lights shine directly in front of my car to the point it seems like I drive with no lights on at all, and the high beams are just right... and I havent found a way to adjust them at all.. and really cant see a way..

so think you guys can help me out here?

Re: Adjusting Projector Lights

Should've searched, there's old threads on this.

Anyways, what you're looking for is screws behind the bulb you want to adjust. One will move the headlight side-to-side while the other moves it up and down. You'll have to play with it a little bit to figure it out, but it's easy after 5-10 minutes. Good luck.

All headlights have adjustment screws...thats how they are adjusted. There will be 4 screw per headlight on projectors and headlights with seperate high/low beam lights, 2 on if it's a combined high/low bulb.

Basically, 2 for each light bulb. 1 screw adjusts the light aim up and down, the other adjusts the light aim left and right. You turn the scrwew with a phillips head screwdriver. If space is tight, try and offset screwdriver.

Look on the back for the screws, you'll find them. They should be on the back of the headlight around or near where the bulbs go in. Again, all headlights have adjusting screws to adjust the headlight aim.

Re: Adjusting Projector Lights

I couldnt really tell you.. matter of fact I forgot.. I just played around with it.. watching the plastic rim around the bulb move up and down..
I believe the one towards the inside is up and down and outside is left to right etc.. Might be different.

Not much help.. What I REALLY hate.. is how my battery is in the way of getting to my passanger lamp.. but good thing the aiming is fine on that one.

Tomm im going to see if I can reach behind and adjust the driver side without removing my bumper.

When you adjust it, try and park the car 20-30 fet from a wall. It will show you the headlight aim on the wall. Then when adjusting it, try and adjust the aim to the deseried level, usually it's level with the headlamps and centered in the middle of each lamp. Masking tape a little cross at the spot on the wall you want each lamp to aim can help too.

Also, go to a hardware store and ask for a phillps head offset screwdriver...you will find it very helpful is reaching those hard to rearch screws when adjusting your headlights. They can go where normal screwdrivers can't. That's essentailly what they are made for, hard to reach and tight fit areas, and one should be a help when adjusting the lamps. Go look at one and you'll see what I mean. You can get one pretty cheap too. Sears and Ace hardware should both have them.
