Frankenstein

I have a F23a (accord engine) I'm wondering if I'm able to use the H22a head on my block ... If so what I would need ???

F23a SOHC vtech
H22a DOHC vtech

yes it is possible and people have done it. get an h22 head gasket and put it up to your f23 block and you will see that it is possible.

not able to do it right??

because cannot fit DOHC head on SOHC block right??

only h and h go together and f and f series parts cant do a f block with a h head.

see signature...


all that is required is blocking 2 drain holes and swaping the internals of the waterpumps. you using an f23 motor will be ok with the f23 head gasket. just be sure to enlarge any holes that require you to do so.

the orginal guys that did this have over 5k miles on their engines. see honda-tech.com for more details. just search for f22 h22 head
