putting manual transmission in z34

i have a 1991 chevy lumina z34. i need a new transmission and i want to put in a 5-speed. what other cars have the same transmission but in a 5-speed?

you are looking for a Getrag 284 transmission, the only problem with them is that they can only be rebuilt at the getrag plant i think in georgia or something.

the getrags are very mean and very strong. i would say try to find another lumina, most 91-92 had 5 speeds. i know Fiero's had a getrag 282 i think some had a 284 not sure. just google "getrag 284" and u will find a lot of information.
