I got the racing medalion by Tanabe....sounds really deep and awesome....kind of loud after 70mph on highways....if I were you I would get either Tanabe racing medalion or Greddy Evolution 2....

Re: Apexi Exhaust

yeah i think i'll go for the tanabe racing medallion because that's the only one i can find that comes with a universal muffler application.. now i just need to decide on the size of the muffler... i'm thinking.. 80 mm inlet? might as well have it big enough to support 3" and i don't see it in a 70 mm size.. oh well!

Re: Apexi Exhaust

How much does the Medallion cost....does it make more power than a Thermal....I know its not as loud and deep as a Thermal. Thats right you got an 93 Integ....WTF was honda thinking with the exhaust on that car

Re: Apexi Exhaust

yeah, i have no idea... such a stupid design.. the muffler's rediculously large.. and now when i put my exhaust in, there's going to be a big ugly pipe sticking across the back of the car, i believe you can find it for around $220 for just the canister, lower in some places when it's on sale or whatever.. i'm sure the full cat back doesn't go for less than $500, meh, you get what you pay for.

Re: Apexi Exhaust

Well, the thermal is 2.25 inch piping (for the classic, the tubro is 3" and should not be used on NA cars), and the tanabe is 2.36, so the tanabe should make marginally better power. Modacar charges $499-569 for the tanabe depending on the aplication and $474-514 for the thermal ($499-555 for the turbo 3").

My honda may have less displacement than your coke bottle, but I'll race your coke bottle for $1000. Who says there's no replacement for displacement?

Re: Apexi Exhaust

yeah, as in another thread.. i'm going turbo, and i don't really want to re-do all the piping when i do, so going for the 80mm would be my best bet i'd think eh?
