Shamelessly ripped from the 4x4parts.com board:

I like the quiet!
Sounds cool, but I like the guiet exhaust note on the Xterra! I'd like to see some figures proving that they get more Hp and torque?

The claims of increased hp and torque aside, I am glad to see Nissan actually adding something performance oriented to their parts catalog. I mean think about it, Ford has it, GM has it, Mopar has it and Toyota does as well. I would love to see Nissan begin seriously supporting their vehicles in ways such as this. Maybe this will be just the beginning. You never know.

Looks interesting. I wonder what the pipe diameter is? Since I live in the salt belt, a stainless system is on my list. As Gordon said, I hope they make more 'special' parts available too.

Exhaust installed on Voy
Author: livinx
Author Host/IP: h000475392692.ne.mediaone.net / 24.218.171.106 Subject: Nissan Sport Exhaust installed!! Well it's all installed. Took about 1.5 hours, but I had to remove my rear skid plate so that added about 30 minutes. Looks and sounds great. Definetly hi flow, when I revved the engine it blew dust and leaves about 8 ft away from tip. Another benefit I noticed is that the new muffler sits up closer to the body giving more clearance between it and the ground. Heres a link to some more pics: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...138&a=13434125 |

Damn! No interest by anyone in how it performed, sounded? So how does it sound? Notice power increase in the upper band? I need more street power for towing but would hate to loose any low end... So now that it's been two months how do you like it?

I second that request
I would really like one of these, but not if it makes my rig sound like a street racer.
