Anyways so I decided to tackle this project today ... used a how to I found on nwhonda.net, I am sure I have posted it here also. Anyways, I got some dual fillament 1157 sockets from my friends 86 accord (being donated) and wired the fog light switch to the high's, and made it so the blinker uses the lows ... pretty cool.
Fog lamps out, and pics of sockets. ![]() ![]() Cut the socket, and added some more wire so I have plenty to work with ![]() Red = blinker Green = High / fog Black = ground ![]() I gotta be more careful with the wire cutter ![]() Got the left one wired up now ![]() The car was dirty so I pressure washed the front grille and rims, and washed the rest of the car ... fuckin CA, I would leave the front plate off but would most likely get pulled ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fog lights on ![]() ![]() All lights ![]() I will get some night shots for you guys later

Few night pics, I should try some with the flash off.
And I doubt the housing would melt seeing as I am using a stock bulb. ![]() ![]()

Not difficult, you can do it one of three ways
1. Using your existing harness, splice and run a wire down from your corner lense so they come on automatically with the headlights 2. Get a dual fillament socket from the brake light of a honda at your local junkyard, and run a wire down from your corner lenses and hook that to one fillament, and the bumper wire to the other (I got mine setup that the blinkers are lows, while fogs are highs, integras come setup reverse of this stock) 3. Using a switch you can make it turn on independently from inside your car, check out how to wire up aftermarket foglights, it follows the same principle. Oh yea ... my clear corners were stolen, I will get new ones when it is conveinent for me. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ghlight=corner

Nice job Melt. Keep up the good homemade projects. Which reminds me you need to give me a list of How To's for my hatch. Because I'm on a budget and bored lol. Thanks bro

Here are a couple of diagrams based on the method to do it.
Single Fillament Diagram ![]() Fairly self explanitory ... lights will come on with headlights, and when you hit the blinker the appropriate one will blink, while the other stays solid. Dual Fillament Diagram ![]() Also pretty easy, there were three wires coming off my dual socket, ground low beam high beam low blinks, and the high comes on when the headlights are turned on. You can reverse the wires so low come on with lights and high comes on when you hit the blinker, but then they wouldnt really double as fogs now would they.
