Talking Suspension work on 95 Accord EX coupe (pics)

I just had a hell of a learning expirence today. I was coming back from york2600's house on my bike when I happened to run into a friend of my dads (daniel) at the local car wash. He was busy pressure washing some really nice rims, so we got to talking, and he had bought a 95 Accord EX off some 17 year old kid for $3000 .. this car has 129k on it, but has been in an accident. Anyways, so he told me he was going to work on fixing the suspension in about an hour after he took the rims to pepboys to be balanced and all that good stuff. Anyways so I rushed home, walked my dog, and called up my buddy tim (york2600) who is busy doing a CRVtec swap on his 94 GSR. Anyways, he said he was hanging out with his woman, so I headed out to daniels and I get about 3/4 of the way there when the cell phone rings, and its tim's girlfriend telling me he "can come" and to mob by and pick him up. So I go through all that shit, and then we finally get to the guys house.

HE HAS A LIFT IN HIS GARAGE!! It was so tight, anyways, enough with my rambling.

Pretty much the full extent of the cosmetic damage, nothing to major, new fender and repaint the bumper, I was looking at the left side of the bumper, and it looks as if that side has been repainted, but really shittily with runs, and there was some overspray on the bottom of the headlight

This side is pretty much all apart, currently we are getting the steering and axle hooked up

Got this shit all together, looking at the other side the gap in the middle between bushings wasnt as big, but he said that once it settles it will be cool

Got the rotor onto the CV now

We were having trouble getting all this shit to line up so we could put the bolt through so ....

We improvised / ghetto rigged!

Pic of me by the car, daniel is now busy hooking up the brake.

Never did get a pic of the finished product, but he lowered the car off the lift so we could check it out ... 95 accord ex, dark tint, lowered with true coilovers, leather interior. Really nice car.

Engine shot ... mighty NGK plug wires

Inside shot, you can kind of see where the dash was butchered for the kid to take out his stereo, daniel was kind of pissed about the shitty job he did of that. All the wiring is still in the car, and this was a pro clean install

Shot of the trunk, this must have been a massive system

Just a nice shot of the car from the front

Hope you guys enjoyed these pics much as I enjoyed chilling there taking em ... after tonights expirence, I think I can replace the CV and half axle in my car without much trouble as long as I have the right tools and a lift (little burner, im looking your way, cause this house was at a friends of my dads friend and I dont really feel comfortable asking him bout it.

Mods feel free to move this into the accord forum.
