engine swap

i was told that chrysler and mitsubishi kinda have the same motors
so ne way i was told that i could swap a pt cruiser 2.4l turbo engine into my 01 gs and not need any mods or ne thing because all things just line up your opinion would be much appreciated

Nope, not worth it. I already tried that one. I got ahold of the dealership tech manual for the pt cruiser. Its not the same engine. The only thing that would sorta fit is the engine out of the stratus. Sorry to burst you bubble. For the money, just go get a turbo kit.
