Ford GT-R?????????

I think we all agree that the name GT-R should have been reserved for the Skylines. I personally like the sound of it GT-R, it sounds bad ass, but atleast even if ford took it away from the Skyline, they put it on a car that deserves the title, the Mustang GT-R is a beast, just look at this monster, even those of you who hate domestics have to give this car its props.

Actually, VW stole another Nissan name for the Golf, it's a Golf GTI R32, not GT-R.

Come on guys, that car is every bit bad ass as the name. I was happy that ford put the GT-R name on something deserving the name and not some peice of junk.
It is a monster, 440hp and 400lb/tq DOHC, N/A, brembo 6pot front and 4pot back, 20x10inch 275 upfront, and 20x11 315, now those are some serious rubber shoes.
I like it, and if I have the cash in 05' I'll buy one.

This is a killer.
Have y'all seen the next supra and skyline, I think they are tight as hell too.

It cant be $70k, they would have a very hard time selling this 440hp stang for $70k, but I could see them getting about 55 for it. Unless there is something ultra special about it

Its Lighter, Faster, And More Appealing Than The New C6 And Slated Performance Model C6.... But 70k Is Far Fetched And Would Much Rather Wait For The New Cobra Where They Ahve Already Said The Sky's The Limit With It And They Are Going To Use Independant Rear Suspension Mated To The New Motor And A Huge Supercharger.

I think they said it is supposed to be a race car that can be formatted and modified to fit most type of racing with minimal $$$$$.
The car was made from parts off the ford racing catalog making it easilly replicated, the body kit should go up for sale soon. They might build some limitted #s (not sure), but they said if they don't the car can be made undependently.
But I think I also want the next Supra and skyline too, they are bad ass, maybe increase displacement to 3.0.
Found one skyline concept but it ain't the one I saw in a mag, I am really waitting to see if they build a new 240SX, I know this will be a bad ass car.

well ive waited a long time to see some nice pictures of the 05' mustang. all i saw was a flash of a crappy picture of one. i think it looks bad ass. as for that supra looks like they ruined a great car.
