WIP: 2001 Le Mans Corvette C5R

Hi there!

For the moment I'm working on a 1/25 Revell Corvette C5R.

Here's what I made of it so far.

More pics and info will follow. Comments are, as always, very welcome indeed!

Stijn

There's something weird with this kit. The Corvette decal on the hood misses the red square with the cross in it. I don't know if I'm the only one who has this problem, but it surely takes away some of the realism.
Does anybody have a spare decal for it?

I got 2 kits still in the box, want to make the 2004 LM version. But yes got with both kits, the 2 red logos are missing. The only thing I can give you is the part of the engine logo (CFpart on top of engine with logo), which isn't missing. You can cut the parts out. Well got one question for you, which colour you used for the body, haven't got a airbrush yet, still working with tam paintcans.

I dont have an airbrush either. I used the chrome yellow (TS-47) spraycan. IMO it gives a bettercolor depth than regular yellow. As for the decal problem, My idea was to buy a sheet of red decal paper and cut out a little square. But that's a surgeon job... If it doesn't work, Iwill pm you.

I'm working on it. I'm going to tackle the engine in a couple of days but first I want to finish a couple of Mercs (expect a clk gtr in a couple of days) and a group c Porsche 962C.

Cheers!
