clunking

Im bringing my 95 aurora in Sat. to get looked at, but was curious to see if anyone had any ideas. Recently my car has been making noise going over little bumps and once in a while turning. Only in the front. Then yesterday it was way worse all of a sudden. When I would accelerate from a red light you could feel it through the floorboards only for a few seconds and it felt like it was on the drivers side. It kind of clunks a fews times like by my tire and you can hear and feel it. Any ideas?

Re: clunking

I have a "98" and mine was doing pretty much the same thing. I suspected the sway bar bushings were worn or something was loose. I put it on ramps and couldn't see anything wrong so i took it to the shop and they found that the left side swaybar link was broken in two. I had them replace both sides. Cost me $117.26 , which i didn't think was too bad for a dealership. Hope yours is an easy fix like mine was. .

Re: clunking

Mine ended up needing new struts. Was quoted $348, but am having friend do it so probably around 200-250.
