PO- Misfire #4 Oil in plug hole
I got a miss on my 97 CV and when I pulled the plug it had alot of oil present. Other plugs I pulled did not. Indication of bad head gasket? Piston Rings? I changed the manifold a couple of years ago. Engine has about 70k original miles---where to start?

Re: PO- Misfire #4 Oil in plug hole
I'd guess valve seals.

Re: PO- Misfire #4 Oil in plug hole
Was the oil on the threads or on the plug electrodes? Makes a lot of difference. If it is on the electrode, possibly valve seals as Blue stated. If it is on threads, look for valve cover leak.
