Crashed my car, need help....
Ok..
I have a 90 integra gs with GS-R wheels (5 spoke ones off a 95 GS-R) with brand new R-rated tires on the front and almost completely bald Z-rated tires on the back. I was getting off on this off-ramp and at the end of it theres a relatively hard left turn, taken at 55 you'll squeal the tires, so I usually take it at about 45. Today, like any normal day on this off-ramp that I drive on at least once a day I took it at my normal 45 mph and my rear end started to slip out cuz i guess i hit some gravel too and i did a full out fishtail, did a 180 and my front right tire crashed into the curb and it tore up my rim at the top. now i have to drive with the wheel a lot to the right for it to go straight and it squeals when i turn even a little and it accelerates slow.. i was thinking alignment and cv joints if not that.. opinions? |

You probably bent a tie rod and the belts in your tire is probably shot to shit!

new tie rod was $68 plus $18 to install it, then $44 for the allignment.. its all better now except the steering wheel defaults like 45 degrees to the right for the tires to be straight.. the guy at the tire place said he couldnt fix that

i'd hate having to drive like that.
an aftermarket hub adapter/wheel would fix it

![]() how do you think it got crooked in the first place? you think maybe my tires were to the right when i smacked the curb and it rotated the tires to the left to straighten out but the steering wheel stayed as it was so to the right is now normal? |

he said that the only thing damaged was the tie rod except of course the rim which is curb marked.. the tires got alligned too and he said that the camber and caster are 99% dead on
