Re: 1999 Chrysler T&C Shift Solenoid C "P0760"
O'reilly's auto parts sells just the solenoid, i was hoping I could get off cheap. But I get 2 error codes, one says shift solenoid, the other is trans control system. Is the solenoid located in the trans control system? Located in the side of the trans? The thing won't shift out of 1st gear, and we've had the computer replaced a year ago. Electrical issues galore with this van.

Re: 1999 Chrysler T&C Shift Solenoid C "P0760"
Really need to test to test turbine speed sensor,,,,vehicle speed sensor to check for output,,,,can be tested at ,Auto Zone ,,or like parts stores...solenoid pak normally doesn't have failure issues,,not to say it can't but codes that are set off,,sometimes are secondary to the real problem.....most issues start there,,,if processor doesn't see engine running,,or vehicle moving---there's no need to up-shift transmission !!!! If it sees one signal but not the other,,,things sometimes gets weird,,,those sensors are known to fail for no reason {cheap junk}..Have seen cars scrapped,,,traded ect,,,ect for a simple thing like that!!!!
