1994 camaro no spark. 3.4L
I have a 1994 w/o spark i have done coils/module so far ad thats about it i pulled the crank sensor of to change it but i want to test it first because i dont beleive its bad so i need some way to test it possibly a ohm test ut i dont know what the guidelines for resistence are for it to be good or bad on a ohm test so if anybody knows or has a better idea of why i lost spark please let me know. thank you

Re: 1994 camaro no spark. 3.4L
I'd check primary voltage and ground to the ignition module, first. If you haven't already. Pink wire is voltage, goes hot when you turn on the key. Black wire is ground. Are there any trouble codes? My info shows two separate crank sensors. The 7x sensor sends ac signal to the ignition module. The 24x sensor sends a dc signal to the pcm.

Re: 1994 camaro no spark. 3.4L
I have checked voltage and its good, i have the 3 prong (wire type) crank sensor that is behind the balancer and i am trying to find a way to test it i currently have it off. if i put it back on and roll the motor over will it send a signal i can detect somehow or a way to measure the ohm load?

Re: 1994 camaro no spark. 3.4L
At the crank sensor, the pink wire is voltage, lite blue and white is signal, the other is ground. With the sensor off, plug in the connector, turn key on, pass blade in and out of window, while watching for on and off signal on the signal circuit. It's been a while since I tested anything that way.
