Re: 99 intrigue electrical problems
Can you pull the glass up easily by hand? Maybe the window regulator is broken.

Re: 99 intrigue electrical problems
I have heard of a similar issue on a different vehicle a friend had. The car was just doing crazy stuff turns out the idiot who owned it before them put a computer in the car from a different car. So they had to replace it along with the tranny then the engine. I highly dout that is the case but it wouldnt hurt to check. I had that problem on my 2002 Intrige once it has never happened since. I would recommend checking your friends fuses and relays, take off the door panels and look for frayed or exposed wires going to or from the window regulators and switches. Also the problem with the windows could be just the switches. My 1999 Intrigue has had problems with the windows not going down they always go up but not down I find that after many years the switches can be faulty. I would recommend replacing the drivers side first along with the window lock switch. On my friends Intrigue his Lock switch broke when he flipped it to lock and the windows got stuck down. There is a sensor in the doors that could have went bad and that could be why his lights are on also some times they stick.
