Question 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette brake lights

The bulbs keep melting buy the contacts. I have just replaced both boards and it fixed the problem for a week then the service traction control light started coming on again and the brake lights were out. I took the tail light assembly apart and the bulbs for the brake lights were melted by the contacts. The tail lights work when the lights are on but no brake lights. I can get one light to work on the upper left light but it melts in an hour. The high mounted brake light works fine. Any help or ideas?

Search also the MOntana and Venture forums. THey are basically the same and this issue is frequently reported.
