Did i miss something

today while watching tv i say what i think was a pontiac commercial....i really wasn't paying attention until the end of the commercial.....i'm not sure if it was what i thought i say but i just want to make sure....

there were two kids in the bask playing a game and hitting the buttons on the side and i think the guy was hitting something on the side which i think was a paddle shifter....is this right??

.......Along with the Competition Group package is an interesting feature - TAPshift. TAPshift allows the driver to ‘manually’ shift gears on the automatic transmission by using F1-style shifter paddles located on the underside of the steering wheel. This means shifting can be done without moving the hands from the steering wheel. Changing gear is easily accomplished in this quasi-manual mode - to shift up, simply push either paddle forward using the thumb - or to shift down, just tilt the paddle in the opposite direction using the first or second finger. Of course, for those times when automatic mode is more convenient, it’s just a simple matter of moving the centre consul mounted shifter from manual mode to full automatic and away you go.
