95 Chevy 1500 (Steering Column Shift)

I had been noticing for a while that when I shift the steering column it slightly misses R. Well Sunday night, I let it warm up and when I shifted the steering column, it wouldnot go into D. It only shifted to R and N. Could it be the cable or shifter in the steerind column?

Re: 95 Chevy 1500 (Steering Column Shift)

Finally got a chance to look at the situation and apparently the bolts that hold the cable bracket in place under the truck came out. Installed to bolts in the bracket and everything is shifting just fine. Thanks for all the suggestions....
