B16A Vtec Power LOSS
I have my baby16A first gen and i installed a black neon light hehehe
for a VTEC indicator my VTEC kicks in at about 4700 rpm, the light comes on i hear the vtec loud but the where my PROBLEM begins i lose all my power the vtec push is not their it just seem to die down still running but with less power than 1000 rpm to 4700rpm i kinda have a clue that it might be my fast idle sensor not shure because it does run good in the morning i feel the power keep going in the morning when i go to work so it work when its cold but not in the daytime WHATS UP HELPPPPPP..... |

I know neon suck but i will change the indicator into the cluster and not the neon some other little blue light i found in my JDM lighter, neon was sitting in my garage so i said put the neon to use its like 3 inches so thats my indicator for now and if your saying that my light is taking power away from the solenoid its not cuz it was havin the power loss before the NEON by the way i have the light close to by gas pedal so no one but me and passenger can see my COOL NEON ROFL....:flash:

when was the last time u did a tune up, like change dist cap, rotor, plugs wires. if u havent done that in a while, lack of spark could cause weak combustion giving less power

w00t OK i have almost all new parts in this engine if not performance OEM....I think i found my problem gotta keep going that was it ...Explain u say here the story LOL i was ghost ricing....meant racing to see what rpm the Vtec would kick in all i would hear is the engine roar after 4700rpm but i dint know if the was VTEC coming on and i would kinda freak out so i would let the gas go thats where i was fucking up i was supposed to keep giving it gas and to my surprise little engine that did, took off like crazy this fucking car scares the shit out of me i almost cant control it, so anyw00t there it is I guess, CTR PISTONS Msd controller 6A with msd pro distributor cap and msd wires with shitty bosch +4 spark plugs really want IRADIUM greddy,SKUNKS 2 VALVE TRAIN SPRINGS, RETAINER'S and awaiting SKUNKS 2 stage 2 CAMS oh yeah i got these JDM jasma headers 421 and my factory LSD tranny with the, i wonder if it actually works MUGEN THERMOSTAT ahhhhhhh

Not yet im so lazy i got to find my camera i wish i had a digital one but i don i will take lots of pics once i put a new valve cover prob the mugen that ones awsome and not the formula one thats like 800 bills im gonna go with the imitation hehehe 180Usd by the way had me fooled there jNYCE5 if it wasnt for the milky connector on the distributor nice by the way looks awsome...Like the CTR INTAKE MANI im gonna get the same with 70mm throttle body...

You have the VTEC coming in too early. 5200-5600 is the optimum range so it's falling off the cams as the actuator kicks in.
Typical of any case of messing with the stock settings. All you are getting is the sound and not the power as it's not optimised. Mr Honda got it right first time remember |
