Where is the fuel filter located on a 1987 s15 Jimmy

I've search all over the place on the truck and online. Everyone says that the filter is along the frame rail on the driver side under the truck. I checked the whole driver side, following the fuel lines and no filter.

My dad has a 1992 Blazer and its where it's supose to be, along the driver side frame rail.

Where the hell in my filter? There is a replaced fuel line it looks and i think the person before me might have replace the line without the filter? aka by passing the filter.

I've had the truck for about 6 years and i'm starting to have fuel issues. Fuel pump works, i'm getting fuel, but in small amounts.
