Ferrari 250 GTO - 1/24 Airfix (ex-Gunze)
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's the Gunze Competizione kerbside kit. The instructions are terrible in the Airfix version, but italianhorses.net was great help. It's my second completed 1/24 car model, and the (Zero) paint in particular was learning experience. It's pretty much out of the box, though I reworked it for left-hand drive, tidied up the dreadful vinyl seats a bit, and built a speedometer for the central console. I also replaced the side windows with acetate, so you could see the work inside better. This is Nick Mason's famous "250 GTO", which I was lucky enough to get a private viewing of in its home last October... bestest, M. |

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO - 1/24 Airfix (ex-Gunze)
Beautiful build! I'd like to see the engine if this isn't a curbside. I'm wondering why the "22" on the nose is made to look like an underscored "99".

Nice overall build. I like it, a couple suggestions though for the future. Cut the decal on the side doors where the panel line is, also the paint is a little orange peely. Looks clean though. Thanks for sharing.
