Question 98 explorer heat/ac

I have an 98 ford explorer that only blows cold air on max ac setting, all other settings blow hot air. I am unable to adjust the air on either setting, it is either hot or cold. I have replaced a leaking heater control valve and also the tempature control switch. any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this problem is much appreciated. Thanks

I had the same peoblem as have alot of other people. Its your blend door.If you go to www.ford-trucks.com it tells you how to fix it,or you can take it to a shop and pay 1000.000.Good luck!!

Re: 98 explorer heat/ac

Go to heatertreater.net they sell the blend door fix for a lot less than going to the dealer. I know I had to do it on my Ford.
