Question p0711

I have a 97 saturn sl1 with about 170,000 miles on it. I had the p0711 code for awhile but the car ran perfect despite the check engine light. I get in the car one morning it starts up no problem but i forgot something in the house turned it off and it hasnt started since then. My question is will this code cause the car to not start and is this a expensive fix? I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Re: p0711

P0711 - Transmission fluid Temp sensor

Consider a fluid/filter change on your transmission.
