I need to replace the RH door mirror on this vehicle and it's not obvious how to remove the door panel. Does anyone have a diagram or info on how this is done? I don't want to start prying at things since I know there are hidden screws somewhere. This vehicle has power mirrors, windows.

Re: 1991 Buick Park Avenue door panel removal
pop out the light cover on latch end of door-there will be 2 bolts to take out, take panel for seats out by flat screw driver in 1 end to pull away from tab-bolts there also, and look behind inside door handle cover. now u just have too pop the panal out around the edges-has those push in peices on the sides and bottom

Re: 1991 Buick Park Avenue door panel removal
I need to do the same on a 1996 Buick Park Avenue door. Is ther process the same? Do I just pry the light cover out of the door panel?

Yes, the 96' has the same removal process the 91' has. Be VERY careful when prying up on the switch panel, make sure to lift the side facing the front of the car.

Re: 1991 Buick Park Avenue door panel removal
The light on the back end of the arm rest prys out. Two screws are accessable. One is obvious, points forward. Second is at 90 degrees and goes into door frame. Both are 10mm hex head. The seat control panel has a tab on the front end that might can be depressed with a screwdriver. I broke mine off but it still went back together OK. Both screws under this panel are 10mm hex head. I had to use thinwall 1/4" drive socket, 3/8" drive socket was too thick. Screw behind door handle is a Torx-15. After prying loose all the push-in retainers, lift the panel up to disengage along glass. Mirror is attached by two 10mm hex head nuts. Glass must be down to remove rear nut. Had to use a flexible extension on the rear nut. Glass has to be up to get nuts and socket when you drop them. I used clear packaging tape to reattach plastic dust barrier.
