Help-non starter clio

Got a clio 1.2 16v today ,first when i started it the electric fault symbol/glow indicator light came on then went off.

Drove the car down the motorway 70-80 mph without any problems, then decided to put some fuel in.

Once i filled up with unleaded it didnt want start, called the 'rac' fuel pump ok,checked plugs-good spark, fuel is coming up to the engine, but car will not start or fire,i was told the injectors are getting no signal to open thats why it aint starting. No lights are on in the dash. any ideas or help ?

Also where is this so called ''fuel cut off switch'' ? 51- 2001- clio 1.2 16v

Re: Help-non starter clio

On my 1999 clio 1.4 it's a red (rubber covered) push button switch near the battery.
