The end...

Just been to a funeral. The bloke was 53 years old, ran his own business, had 4 kids and a couple of grand kids. Was into sports in a big way and judging from the service was well liked and respected.

Collapsed at work and never woke up.

Reminds you life is to be lived not to be spent regretting things not done...

very true, but we should live life to the max without taking time to appreacate life itself. It took dying about 8 times (yes, legally dead) to realise this...

Lightbulb Life...

I got into it with one of my bosses today because I questioned a stupid move that would've affected me. I told her that life was too short and I wasn't going to do what they wanted because that would keep me from doing what I thought was right. She thought about it and we decided I was right. As of right now I still have my job. If I lose it I'll find another one. Life is too short to compromise yourself . Enjoy what you have and leave few regrets.

no regrets...

I'm 53 years old and until recently was working my ass off everyday, long hours and cramming everything into a 24 hour period. Recently we had 2 supervisors die. This put things in perspective and now I don't work overtime and life is much more enjoyable, get to be with my friends more and help my son with growing pains.

This past week, my supervisor wanted me to work overtime and I replied no, then he tried to make a stronger plea, then again I said no, so now lately he's avoiding me and yesterday tried to get me in a jam with a service call near quitting time. What an a**hole he's turning out to be. Life is too short to become an a**hole.

I have a lot of life left, if you let work take over your life and don't have a hobby to chill out with, you will die young, something I have seen with my Grandfather, who died at only 62 because he let his work as an engineer take over his life

Law will probably take over my life, but that is my hobby. I also plan to get into politics and that too is a hobby. Oh well, maybe I'll live extra long since my job is my hobby, or I'll get tired of it quicker and die at 21 or something like that!

Why is this in Stress Release?

I'm 37... thought I had a lot of life to live. 2-1/2 yrs ago I was diagnose with Leukeimia. Still not cured. Enjoy life while your young, but be mature enough to realize the difference between fun, and stupidity!
