2006 Grand Prix GT supercharged w/128k on it

Hey everyone...this forum has helped me so much with both my grand prix's. I just got a chance to buy an 06 gt with the supercharged engine. It runs and drives excelent but I don't know anything about these engines. What should I look for. Do the 06 still have the problems with the intakes like the older ones? Mine is a 98 GT 3800 and then I have that older 94 3.1. Also, I have never had one with a supercharger on it. I know you can and should change the old in that supercharger but how often should it be done? It does have 128 k on it but I can buy it really cheap. It has some hail damage on it but that don't bother me. I just can't decide...the chance to go up 8 years in car is very tempting even though my 98 is all fixed up and in near perfect shape. Oh yeah...the air bag light is on too but the bags are still intact.
Well, just any insite on this would be helpful. I don't know anyone that has the newer style GP's. I know lots of people with the older style like mine though.

The fact the airbag light is on makes me wonder about it.... Ask for a carfax. It might have been in an accident where the bags deployed. The bags were replaced, but the module not.....

It does have a salvage title from the hail but no air bag deploy. The back glass was busted out but has been replaced. It is wet in the back seat area but does not stink...yet. It would need a good good cleaning and take the back seat out to let it all dry up. Do these 06's still have the intake gasket problems?

04+ GP's came with the GM revised aluminum lower intake gaskets installed, so to answer your question if they still have problems... Yes, just not as much (or as soon).
