1997 geo metro wont start!!!

The other day went to start the car. It started for like 10 seconds then it died and it hasn't started since. When you go to try and start it acts like it wants to turn over but it wont. Its not getting any spark. Any ideas?

Timing belt. Pop distributor cap to see if its turning.

I did that and its barely turning....is that good or bad?.
