P 40 C Tomahawk / 1:48 Academy

This my latest finished modell. I stopped some racecar project to do this and to learn to use my airbrush better.
Used paints are Acrilic Gunze ,Tamiya and some Revell. Clear also Tamiya X 22 Gloss and sealed with Gunze Mr.Hobby Top Coat semigloss decanted and airbrushed. For the light wash i used some water colors, very easy to work with and safe for the paint.
The plain is almost OOB, i aded some seat belts from Eduard, and modified the guns on the fuselage ( i cut the plastic, drilled holes and glued the metal parts). This is a simple model, but very good for training!

I love the P-40. Nice build, and I like the soft demarcation between colours. A very clean aircraft.
