Weekend track day Mini

Hello everyone,

Well here it is, after almost a year after I started, is finally finished.

Here is a brief over view of the build.

The color is Old English White with Black painted bonnet stripes and checkered roof. The interior is Black with Red plaid seat and door inserts. The theme for the build is a car that has been fully restored that gets driven to shows, club events, and a drive on those perfect sunny days. But also get taken to the track one or twice a month for some more spirited driving.

A list of mods include:
- Use of parts from three different Tamiya Mini kits.
-Suspension redone to make it sit lower, wider and with a slight negative camber in the front.
-Disc brakes in all four corners.
-Modified kit roll bar to add side and harness bars. Also added a video camera to main hoop.
-Fully detailed engine bay including, ignition wiring, fuel lines, hydro clutch lines, brake lines, oil cooler hoses, dip stick, fresh air tube, speedo cable, and throttle cable.
-All chrome (except bumpers and headlamps) are Alclad.
-Black flocking for carpeting.
-Modified interior to have two front racing seats.
-Riveted fender extensions.
-Scratch built tow hooks.
And many many more

Well anyways, enough talk, here are the pictures...

Well there you have it. Thank you to all that have followed this build and for all your kind words along the way. It has been enjoyable build and I hope you have enjoyed it as well.
