Lightbulb tahoe newbie - tire/lift ideas

Well fellas, I just got a 99 4wd 2dr tahoe z71 sport today and I need advice. I would like to add bigger tires and maybe raise it about 3 or so inches. Are there affordable suspension lifts out there or would it be best just to get a body lift. Also are there any good wheel and tire packages that you know of? thanks - kevin

the 3" body lift would be the best! with 33's. Um,, Procomps have the best deal, buy 3 get one free but, but, they stink!! I have Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers and they are doing pretty good. They are more agressive then the BFG's and the are cheap too. Buckshots are cheap too but they are quieter and last about as long as the dunlops,, Dunlops are better off-road though.. You can buy some Mickey Thompson classic 2's for $99. But get the bead lock kind for a lil more and it'll be worth the looks, it looks nice on a Tahoe!

Re: tahoe newbie - tire/lift ideas

You can go with a three-inch suspension lift and probably tuck some 285's or 33 inch tires pretty good. I'd recommend Trxus MT's or BFG MT's.
