Parts you need:

P28 civic si ecu

D16z6 timing belt.

Adjustable cam gear or d16y7 (1996 civic cx) cam gear

Cylinder head, distributor, vtec silinoid. from d16z6

Head gasket to match block (3 layer metal if you can get one)

Spark plug wires to fit cylinder head.

Intake manifold gasket.

10 ft of 18g stranded copper wire, shrink wrap, and two pins to fit the connecters which plug into your ecu.

I've done it before. power benifits are nothing special.

You'll get more bang out of just swapping an si trans and save more money
