Cat off my Suburban

I took the cat off my '89 'Burban and was wondering if it is of any scrap value. I looked at scrap only cats on ebay, and they seem to be bringing some cash. The truck has the 5.7TBI and the cat is 3" in/out with all the guts intact. Am I wasting my time trying to get any money out of this thing?
