Dyno Results In

Well guys finally got the eclipse on the dyno today. Our motorsports club got a dyno day setup so we had a few cars there. We took a bunch of pics so here is a link to all of them.

There is about 60 of them so I dont want to post all of them here. I also got videos of all of the cars that I will be posting up later.

The car did awesome on the dyno, did pretty much what I expected. 339whp and 312wtq. Not bad at all considering the shitty 2.5" exhaust and manifold that I have on it. Planning on changing that in the next few weeks and then will be taking it back to the dyno. Dyno sheet will be posted when I get it scanned.

I did 2 runs. I backed that first run up with a 337whp & 309wtq. I could have done more but there was really no point. Plus I got this new dyno that I will be using a good bit.

That's impressive numbers man, so you've done what, triple your stock whp? Either way your car has come a long way. Do you have any numbers on your 0-60 or 1/4 mile?

Well I don't do many 0 to 60 pulls because of traction issues. Last time I went to the track it trapped 112mph but the clutch died when I got on it hard off the line so I didn't get any good numbers. Yea considering the car came with 140bhp it has come a long way

Yea that was actually the first pull and they think one of the tires may have broken loose causing it to do that.

Wow just watched those videos. Ya that 2nd one was freaky once it started moving.

Any specific reason for the backfire? Just rich?

Yea I wish you could see the people watchin in the video, when the car started to move they all jumped back and hide behind shit. The back fire was MS hitting boost cut. For some reason the boost spiked to 25psi and MS cut fuel and spark. I check all the wastegate lines thining something blew off but everything was good. Still not sure why the boost jumped up 2psi but it didn't do it in the next run.


I should have mentioned this earlier but the car is running 12.0:1 afr under boost with the meth. It seems to be a little faster then when I tuned to 11.5. I still haven't completely finished the timing maps yet so that could be why 12.0 is faster right now.

No break up at all, and I wasn't checking knock on the dyno but all the tuning I did on the street I never saw any. Im actually still a little confused about how its not knocking. I have advanced the hell out of the timing and its still not knocking at all.

Im about to change to full 3" exhaust T3 exhaust housing for the TD06 wheel and a SS manifold. Hopefully that will be on around thanksgiving, my setup should be good for over 400whp then. I know Im goin to need bigger injectors before I can push that much but the 20g should be more than enough.
